Will Major League Baseball punish Yankees and Mets after New Yorkers reject progressive voting rights referendum?

If Major League Baseball wants to be consistent in its decisions, it now has to penalize both the New York Mets and New York Yankees, according to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

“Where will the Mets and Yankees end up?” Mr. McConnell said after New Yorkers rejected a voting rights referendum. “Surely MLB can’t let them stay in New York after this.”

On Election Day, voters rejected the progressive left’s measures that would have allowed voters to register to vote in-person on election day at the polling station. Another measure would allow all voters to vote by mail.

This summer, Major League Baseball took action against the city of Atlanta by removing the All-Star Game from the city and giving it to Denver, Colorado.

The Atlanta Braves went on to win the World Series in return.

Now, Major League Baseball is faced with a decision. Will it continue to punish cities that, according to the left, restrict the rights of voters or will it turn a blind eye to this latest rejection of the left’s far-reaching proposals?
