Sarge retires after 6 years of service as a Gloucester K-9 cop

GLOUCESTER TWP, NJ – Sarge is retiring. After a six-year career of service to the community of Gloucester, Sarge, the police department’s K-9 faithful is retiring. Who knows, maybe he’ll be in next year’s Florida retiree gathering!

But as in life, as you get older there’s always a young pup, ready to fill your big…paws.

“K9 Sarge served Gloucester Township Police Department for 6 years and officially retired February 21, 2022. He will now enjoy the pet life at home with his handler, Ptl. Mike Przeworski,” the department said. “Ptl. Mike Przeworski has officially began training a new K9, and we’ll make an official announcement this April 2022- Stay tuned!”
