Elizabeth teen motorcyclist seriously injured in hit and run crash

LINDEN, NJ – Linden Police investigators are searching for the driver of a 4-door-sedan that was involved in a hit and run crash Friday night. Police are hoping that witnesses to the crash will come forward or provide tips to help them identify the driver and the vehicle.

“Investigators are asking for your help to identify a hit and run vehicle that fled the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash at approx. 10 pm on Friday, 3/11/2022,” the department said. “A 19-year-old Elizabeth man was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with the 4-door sedan on E. St. George Ave. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle fled on W. Baltimore Ave toward Carnegie St prior to Police arrival.”
