Police Investigating After Woman Grabbed and Robbed at ATM in University City

Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia police are investigating an ATM robbery at the University City area University Mini Mart.

On Tuesday April 5th, 2022, at approximately 8:00pm, the victim, a 20-year-old female, was inside the University Mini Mart located at 19th and Cecil B. Moore Avenue using the ATM machine,” police said “After withdrawing $50 she left the store and after crossing to the north side of Cecil B. Moore she was approached from behind by an unknown black male who grabbed the victim and reached into the victim’s wallet and took the $50 then fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured during this incident.
