Cumberland Crime Report: April 25th

CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland Police Department has issued crime reports for three incidents that occurred on April 25th.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED

On Monday, April 25, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a Washington County bench warrant on David Michael Stonebraker. The warrant was issued as a result of Stonebraker failing to appear for his court case at the District Court of Maryland for Washington County. Stonebraker was originally charged with driving on an out-of-state suspended license. He was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for his initial hearing. Stonebraker was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.

BENCH WARRANT & CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED

On Monday, April 25, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Autumn Lee Forsythe. The warrant was issued as a result of Forsythe failing to appear for her court case at the District Court of Allegany County. Forsythe was originally charged with driving on a suspended license. She was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for her initial hearing. Forsythe was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

The Cumberland Police Department also served a criminal summons on Forsythe. The summons was issued as a result of a private citizen filing charges against Forsythe at the District Court of Allegany County.

CHARGES ON SUMMONS: 2 counts of Trespass: Private Property, 2 counts of Disturb the Peace/Disorderly, Assault-2nd Degree

TRESPASSING ARREST

On Monday, April 25, 2022, at approximately 11:15 AM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business in the 800 block of N. Mechanic Street to check on the well-being of a female subject. The investigating officer contacted the business owner who explained that he found the female sleeping on his property earlier and he told her that she was not to be on the property. The owner explained that he returned this evening and found the same female asleep on his property. The female subject was identified as Julie Lee Davis. Davis was arrested and later released on a criminal citation.
