Arrest Made in Weekend Armed Robbery in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, PA – A 19-year-old from Allentown was arrested for robbery and throwing bodily fluids at police officers. Allentown police said that on Sunday, at approximately 8:00 AM, officers responded to the area of 2nd Street and Susquehanna Street for a report of an armed robbery.

“Upon arrival on scene, officers were advised that a second armed robbery had just occurred in the area. Officers were able to broadcast a description of the suspect. Officers were able to locate the suspect and was detained by patrol officers,” the department said.
