Two Powerball Tickets In Morris County Win $50K

TRENTON, NJ – Two lucky NJ Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the May 14th drawing. They each won the $50,000 third-tier prize.

The winning tickets were sold at Speedway Gas, on Dover Chester Road in Randolph and Stop & Shop #893, on Littleton Road in Morris Plains. Both stores are in Morris County.

The winning Powerball numbers for the May 14th, drawing were: 06, 40, 41, 45, and 52. The Red Power Ball number was 09. The Power Play was 3X. 


According to lottery officials, “There were 21,365 other New Jersey players who took home an estimated $124,933 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $90,000,000 for the Monday, May 16, drawing. Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Saturday, May 14, drawing were: 23, 36, 41, 42, and 65. The red Double Play Power Ball number was 14.”
