by Adam Devine

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Few are exempt from the increase in violent activity across New York City, even a subway conductor inside his cab. On Sunday, a man approached a subway train on the northbound J line at Exchange Place and Broad Street in Manhattan and approached the conductor’s window.

The suspect then smashed a glass bottle over the head of the conductor. The incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. The 43-year-old male train conductor suffered multiple lacerations to his forehead.
