Trespassing Turns to Homicide in York City

YORK, PA- The York City Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place Wednesday night. Officers were dispatched to West Jackson Street to investigate a suspicious trespasser. “A witness confronted the trespasser, prompting him to flee on foot,” investigators said.

“While the trespasser fled, the witness alerted a group of individuals to stop the trespasser. The group stopped the trespasser and began to assault him before they fled from the scene.” Despite being treated by emergency medical services, the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries at York Hospital. The investigation is still ongoing.
