Philadelphia Man Shot in Head at Gas Station Parking Lot in Critical Condition

PHILADELPHIA, PA (PRESS RELEASE BY PPD) – The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to this shooting incident.

On June 4, 2022, at 4:03 am, 25th District officers heard gunfire coming from area of Broad and Hunting Park Ave and discovered an unresponsive victim in the Sunoco parking lot located at 4134 N. Broad Street lying next to a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds to his head, face, chest, and legs. Officers transported this male to Temple Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Surveillance footage from multiple locations captures two suspects before, during, and after the shooting incident.

  • Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, goatee, medium build, medium complexion, bald with large scar on the back of his head wearing a white polo style shirt with single dark stripes on each shoulder and sleeve, light blue jeans and dark shoes with white soles.
    Suspect #2: Black male, medium build, medium complexion, salt and pepper beard wearing a grey T-shirt with “Maryland” logo, black hoody with maroon hood and sleeves and a whitelogo on the back with “TRUE” underneath, black sweatpants and white sneakers.=
