PHILADELPHIA, PA- On Thursday, at Evo Brick Oven Pizza ,at 277 West Mount Pleasant Avenue, an unknown black male broke into the business and burglarized it. At 2:30 am, the same unknown male broke into High Point Cafe at 602 Carpenter Lane and burglarized it.
Police found video surveillance footage that shows the offender approach the front entrance of Evo at approximately 12:30 am.
“The video then shows him breaking through the basement door. The offender removed two safes and broke into the register,” according to police. “The complainant reported $8000 stolen. Video Surveillance recovered from 602 Carpenter Ln shows the offender walking to and from the business with a cash register.”
Shortly after walking away with the cash register, the offender is seen driving in a dark colored sedan. At approximately 4:00 am, Maleani Cafe at 6734 Germantown was burglarized. The suspect used the same method of entry and the cash register was broken into.
