WILDWOOD, NJ – A father and son have been charged for breaking into the basement in robbing a store located on the boardwalk in North Wildwood this summer.
According to the North Wildwood police, on August 11th at around 3:30 a.m., a suspect was seen forcing entry into a basement at the corner of 25th and Boardwalk. A second suspect remained outside the business to serve as a lookout.
The two took off with approximately $4,500 in cash.
Today after a thorough investigation by the North Wildwood police department a father and son were arrested for the robbery.
Brian Barone, 56 and Christian Barone, 19, both from Garfield, or charged with burglary, criminal mischief and other related charges.
