19-year-old shot and killed in ambush in Philadelphia, caught on video, 30 shots fired

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department of searching for three people wanted for two cold-blooded ambush-style shootings in Philadelphia.

On Monday, September 26th, at around 1:58 am, the suspects shot 19-year-old Tahmir Jones 36 times, killing him while sitting on steps in front of an apartment building in the 600 block of S. 13th Street.

Police have released surveillance video of the shooting (warning graphic) in the hopes of finding Tahmir’s killers.  Police have offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
