ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – If you have business with the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office warrant division, you’re going to be met with a festive scene after staff members decorated the hallway and entrance to the office for the holidays.

In a fitting design, the staff members chose a scene from the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. It’s part of a courthouse holiday door decorating contest.

“Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus gives a big shout out to Renee Wright and Tamika Williams of our staff for their outstanding job in decorating our second floor Warrant Office door as part of the courthouse holiday door decorating contest ! The judging takes place today and we are looking forward to getting the top prize when winners are announced this Friday,” Sheriff Kraus’ office said today.

Ironically, with package thefts and porch piracy on the rise, the office had to clearly identify the packages as being empty. Yes, even inside the courthouse, nobody is immune from the brazen crime wave sweeping the country.
