DUNKIRK, MD – A business owner who was robbed on January 9th said that while the burglar made it out clean, his bathroom did not.

Deputies responded to the business in the 10400 block of Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk, for the report of a burglary that had already occurred.

When they arrived at the scene, something didn’t smell right.

“The complainant advised an unknown suspect made entry to the building and used the bathroom, The toilets were found extremely clogged and full of feces, paper towels were observed stuffed in the toilet, and soaking wet carpet was discovered throughout the lower level of the building,” the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department said.

The estimated value of damaged property to the septic/drainage system and water damage to the carpet is $2,200.00.
