60-year-old beaten and robbed in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Two women acted as a lookout while three others viciously attacked and robbed a 60-year-old man in Brooklyn last Monday. Today, detectives with the NYPD’s 68th Precinct released photos of the suspects who are still at large.

According to police, on Monday, at around 3:40 am, the group approached the man as he was walking near 8th Avenue and 70th Street between Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge.

Police said the two women watched as the three male suspects pushed him to the ground and began to punch and kick him repeatedly.


“The individuals forcibly removed the victim’s keys, cellphone, and approximately $65,” the NYPD said.

The suspects fled westbound on Bay Ridge Avenue. The victim was transported to an area hospital for injuries to his leg and face.
