Two Men Arrested in Atlantic City on Drug Charges

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Officers from the Atlantic City Police Department have arrested two men today, Rahim Bobo and Justin McCausland, on narcotic-related offenses after observing a drug transaction on April 13, 2023. Officer Gissell Garcia was conducting surveillance in the area of Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues in response to complaints from merchants and residents regarding quality-of-life issues when she observed the transaction.

Officers Anthony Nastasi and Tyman Gordy located McCausland, who was found in possession of a single bag of heroin and subsequently arrested. Bobo was located by Officer Jesse Oliver-Logan and taken into custody. He was found in possession of 85 bags of heroin, more than five grams of cocaine, cash, and an active arrest warrant. Bobo now faces multiple charges, including possession of CDS (two counts), possession with intent to distribute (two counts), possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and money laundering. McCausland has been charged with possession of CDS.

Both men were released on a summons with a future court date. The public is reminded that charges are mere allegations, and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
