MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit operates a location here in Ocean County, in Manchester, and today, the company announced it is the official sausage of the Dallas Cowboys.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the iconic 82-year-old barbecue brand, has added the Dallas Cowboys to their roster of professional sports team partnerships. The barbecue brand, which offers handcrafted, small-batch, pit-smoked Kielbasa Sausage in three varieties, has secured a major victory by being named the Official Sausage of the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s USDA-inspected facility in Mesquite, Texas, exclusively makes the three varieties of sausage – original, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, and Sausage Hot Links. The latest collaboration between Dickey’s and the Dallas Cowboys is set to have football and barbecue enthusiasts cheering at the opportunity to show off their pit-master skills from the comfort of their own home.
Dickey’s CEO Laura Rea Dickey stated that “Football and barbecue have been a winning team for decades,” and added, “That’s why we are beyond excited to score this great partnership with the Dallas Cowboys organization and to continue providing our Official. Cowboys. Sausage. to Cowboys fans each season.”
Guests can expect upcoming sausage samplings and Dickey’s Barbecue giveaways at the Dallas Cowboys Draft Party, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023. The event is being held at Tostitos Championship Plaza at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX.
