Retired Baltimore Resident Scores $100,000 on In the Money Scratch-Off

BALTIMORE, MD- A Baltimore man’s simple request for scratch-offs as gifts from his family has turned into a life-changing experience. His love for these tickets brought him to the Winner’s Circle at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, where he claimed his biggest prize yet – $100,000 on the In the Money scratch-off.

The retired manufacturing worker has enjoyed small wins throughout the years, but this recent windfall is undoubtedly a game-changer. His journey to fortune began on a Sunday when he visited Royal Farms #015 in Baltimore to purchase scratch-offs.

“I usually play the new tickets when they come out,” he explained. However, to his disappointment, the machine only had older games and none of his preferred new ones. Feeling a bit disheartened, he randomly chose two In the Money tickets, a $10 game that debuted in February.

Returning home, he settled down with a jelly doughnut and the tickets, ready to scratch them off. The first ticket revealed an astounding $100,000 top prize.

Royal Farms #015 at 1601 Middleborough Road in Essex, the store where the winning ticket was sold, will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $100,000 top-prize scratch-off. As for the In the Money game, there are still four remaining $100,000 prizes waiting to be claimed, along with five $20,000 prizes, 13 $10,000 prizes, and thousands of other prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
