Parrish, FL – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating multiple cases of credit card fraud linked to a former employee at Oil Masters Quik Lube, located on Old Tampa Road. Detectives suspect that there may be additional victims yet to come forward.

Between June 1, 2023, and June 15, 2023, the unidentified suspect targeted at least four customers who had paid for an oil change at the establishment. Following the transactions, the suspect quickly made substantial transfers to his PayPal account, using the name “Clearview Services.” In some instances, victims were fraudulently charged amounts as high as $1,400.

To ensure that you have not fallen victim to this scam, detectives are urging individuals who paid for an oil change at Oil Masters Quik Lube during the first two weeks of June to thoroughly review their bank and credit card statements for any suspicious charges from “Clearview Services.”

If you believe that you have been affected by this fraudulent activity, it is crucial to report the incident to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office immediately. They can be reached at (941) 747-3011, and providing any relevant information will assist in the ongoing investigation.

The identity of the suspect is being withheld at this time for investigative reasons.
