Fugitive Wanted for Murder of Columbus Teen Turns Himself In

COLUMBUS, OH – Dreyton Lane has turned himself in at Columbus Division of Police Headquarters, confirming that all suspects related to the north Columbus shooting are now in custody.

On August 26, officers were dispatched to a business in the 1500 block of Schrock Rd. following reports of a shooting. The officers found 19-year-old Nathaniel Joe-Summerall with a fatal gunshot wound. Another victim was later treated at a local hospital for injuries. Both victims were part of a group that had gathered in the parking lot of the business where the shooting occurred.

Initially, arrest warrants were filed for five suspects: 16-year-old Dreyton Lane, 20-year-old Kiyaire Blow, 18-year-old Mehki Lewis, 14-year-old Marshawn Hudson, and 14-year-old Zion Barnett. Lane was the last to be apprehended, voluntarily surrendering to police.
