Residents Concerned After Private Investigator Caught Spying

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – A private investigator has been following residents of Jackson in the Orthodox Jewish community. The man, who identified himself as a private investigator working for a ‘group of Jackson residents’ was spotted numerous times by concerned residents.

Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz today said he was unaware of the investigator operating within the township.

The incident comes as Jewish holidays such as Yom Kippur and Sukkot approach.


The investigator did not reveal who his clients were or the nature of his business.

Jewish community leaders in Jackson condemned the act as the investigator was spying only on Jewish residents entering homes for prayer.
