Do You Miss Perkins? You Can Now Buy Their Coffee at Home

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Generations of Toms River and shore area residents used to start their morning with a Perkin’s breakfast and coffee, but the chain has since closed locations in Toms River and Freehold.

It was a great loss to the morning breakfast scene with the company’s affordable and senior-friendly, yet great-tasting breakfast selections.

The coffee wasn’t so bad either. Many people loved it, which is why the company is entering the retail coffee market.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery expands into the retail coffee market, offering a 20% discount on newly launched coffee products from September 25 to October 1.

Diana Garcia-Lorenzana, Vice President of Marketing for Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, announced the company’s venture beyond its traditional dining service. The initial coffee lineup features Perkins House Blend and Chocolate Pecan Pie, both available year-round. A seasonal Perkins Pumpkin Pie blend will also be offered in sync with the restaurant’s pumpkin-themed menu.

This move marks the first time in 65 years that consumers can replicate the Perkins experience, known for its “Bottomless Pot of Coffee,” at home or in their workplaces.

Lorenzana stated that the new retail line allows patrons to savor Perkins coffee on their own terms. The discount offer also coincides with National Coffee Day, providing an extra incentive for early buyers. Available for a limited period, the promotion is valid at participating locations.
