FORKED RIVER, NJ – The Lacey Historical Society is set to host its Annual Halloween Family Fest at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, located directly behind Mrs. Walker’s Ice Cream. Scheduled over two days, this event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

The fest promises diverse Halloween-themed activities suitable for attendees of all ages. Highlights include a walkthrough of various spooky scenes, interactions with costumed characters – both living and inanimate, games, prizes, and an opportunity for pumpkin decorating. Participants can indulge in making S’Mores at the fire pit, enjoy refreshments, participate in Halloween trivia, and even have their faces painted. Authentic ghost stories from the region will be shared, adding an eerie element to the festivity. Moreover, the eagerly awaited historical comedy skit, “Return of Real Ghosts of Lacey”, is set for multiple showings at the Old Schoolhouse.

Tickets can be procured in advance during regular hours at the Lacey Recreation Department, and they will also be accessible at the entrance on event days.
