PHILADELPHIA, PA – Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was minding his business watching the Philadelphia Eagles game in a skybox alongside South Jersey Democrat Power Boss George Norcross on Sunday. Hanging below Norcross was a hybrid American-Israeli flag from the skybox ledge.

Suddenly, a stadium security guard entered the booth and began questioning Norcross. Norcross laid his hands on the security guard and for a moment it looked like things were about to go bad.

The Lincoln Financial Field security team of at least three then pulled down the flag and escorted Norcross out of the stadium.

The entire time, Chris Christie sat there watching, munching on his stadium snacks. Christie had been enjoying the game, and apparently the stadium food, with Norcross moments before the incident happened.

Fans later criticized the Eagles for ripping down the flag.

Christie, no stranger to being booed and heckled was once again heckled. This time, not because he’s Chris Christie and not because of his American-Israeli hybrid flag. No, this time it was because he’s a Dallas Cowboys fan. The Eagles were hosting the Cowboys on Sunday.

“Ex-New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is heckled by hostile Eagles fans in Philadelphia over his support for the Cowboys before ‘remaining silent as his friend is ejected from their box for hanging a US-Israeli flag,” The US Daily Mail said.
