Buffalo Man Arraigned on Murder and Weapon Charges

BUFFALO, NY – Keyondre Robertson, a 21-year-old man from Buffalo, known as “Kano,” faced arraignment on Monday before State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek.

He is indicted for Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-I” felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class “C” violent felony.

The charges stem from an incident on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Around 2:00 a.m., Robertson allegedly shot 25-year-old John L. Craig with an illegal firearm on Lang Avenue near Ericson Avenue in Buffalo. Craig succumbed to his injuries at the scene.


Robertson’s arrest occurred in South Buffalo on Friday, based on the indictment warrant.

He was held without bail, with a return court date yet to be scheduled. If convicted of the highest charge, he could face 25 years to life in prison.
