LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives apprehended two brothers, David, 38, and Andrew Morrison, 34, on robbery charges after an incident at a Costco parking lot in Industry. The event occurred around 6:30 p.m. on November 26.

During the incident, the Morrison brothers allegedly snatched a woman’s purse and dragged her approximately 50 yards as they fled in their vehicle. The woman attempted to recover her purse when she was reportedly punched repeatedly and dragged, sustaining multiple facial injuries and head trauma. She was later hospitalized.

The suspects were located and arrested on December 28 in Diamond Bar, about eight miles from the incident location. A search at the arrest site revealed items linked to the victim, as stated in a sheriff’s office press release.

Both men were booked at the Industry Sheriff’s Station on $500,000 bail each. The Major Crimes Bureau continues to investigate whether the Morrisons are connected to other robberies. They urge any other victims to contact them at 562-946-7187.

Following the incident, Donald Ward, a friend of the victim, highlighted the importance of being vigilant about one’s surroundings, sharing his assistance in canceling her stolen credit cards and arranging for her car to be towed from the scene.
