Ocean County Man Arrested for Stealing Vehicle at Wall Township WaWa

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police arrested 37-year-old Joseph Cranmer of Little Egg Harbor for stealing a vehicle from a WaWa parking lot on Hwy 34. The incident occurred yesterday around 4:30 PM.

The vehicle, a 1989 Ford F-350, was left unlocked and running by its owner, who was inside the store at the time. Cranmer took the opportunity to drive off with the truck. After the vehicle was reported stolen, it was soon located by the Berkeley Township Police. Cranmer attempted to flee but was apprehended by the officers. He faces charges for the theft and other related offenses and is currently detained at the Ocean County Jail.
