Scott Drive Closed Due to Flooding in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, MD – Rockville City Police Department issued a road closure alert at 7:45 p.m. today, citing flooding as the cause. Scott Drive is currently closed at the intersections of Wootton Parkway and Carriage Court.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and heed the warning to “turn around, don’t drown”, emphasizing the dangers of attempting to drive through flooded roads. The police department has not provided an estimated time for reopening the road.
