North Jersey School Closure List As of 9pm Monday Night for January 16th

The National Weather Service forecasts 4 to 6 inches of snow for much of North Jersey on Monday, January 15. The snowfall is expected to turn into a wintry mix by Tuesday morning, January 16, potentially complicating the morning commute.

In response, several school districts have announced delayed openings for Tuesday. These districts include Bergenfield, Boonton, Cliffside Park, Clifton, Cresskill, Dumont, Elmwood Park, Fair Lawn, Florham Park, Franklin Lakes, Hopatcong, Lafayette, Lenape Valley, Lyndhurst, Mahwah, Maywood, Montville, Morristown, New Milford, Newton, Paramus, Parsippany-Troy Hills, Ramsey, Randolph, Ridgewood, Rockaway, Roxbury, Saddle Brook, Saddle River, Stanhope, Sussex/Wantage, Tenafly, Vernon, Wayne, and Wyckoff.

Residents are advised to prepare for potentially slippery road conditions and to stay informed on further updates from local authorities.
