Vehicle Break-Ins and Thefts Rise in Burlington

BURLINGTON CITY, NJ — The Burlington City Police Department alerts the community to an increase in vehicle break-ins and thefts, particularly targeting Hyundai and Kia models. Residents are advised to adjust their camera settings to record all motion, including street activity.

The department requests community members to review their camera footage, especially from overnight hours, for any suspicious activities in recent nights. Anyone with relevant video or information about suspicious individuals is encouraged to contact Detective Will Lancenese at wlancenese@burlingtonnj.us. Residents should include their contact information and address in the correspondence.
