Stabbing Incident at Temple University Campus Leaves Employee Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An unsettling event unfolded early this morning at Temple University, where a campus employee was the victim of a stabbing. The incident, involving an apparently mentally distressed assailant, occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. in the vicinity of the 1000 block of West Montgomery Avenue.

In the aftermath of the attack, the perpetrator was seen heading eastward on Montgomery Avenue towards 8th Street. The Campus Police, working alongside the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD), are diligently pursuing the investigation. Efforts include scrutinizing security video footage and conducting surveillance in the surrounding area to track down the assailant.

Fortunately, the injured employee was conscious and alert following the incident. They received immediate medical attention and were transported to Temple Hospital.
