The programs, requiring pre-registration due to limited space, are set to offer a blend of walking tours, presentations, and discussions.

The series kicks off on Wednesday, February 3rd, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, with a 90-minute walking tour titled “Architecture of the CRRNJ Terminal.” Participants will join a historic interpreter to explore the architectural marvels of the CRRNJ Terminal building. Continuing the historical journey, on Wednesday, February 10th, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, the “Historic Trilogy” program will take place. It explores the intertwined histories of the CRRNJ Terminal, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. The 90-minute program will include a PowerPoint presentation and discussion aimed at debunking myths related to Ellis Island. The meeting point is the same as the previous program.

On Wednesday, February 21st, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Liberty State Park will commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Blue Comet Train with the “Trail of the Blue Comet” program. This session includes a 60-minute PowerPoint presentation, a discussion on the train’s impact, and a clip from the documentary “Deluxe: The Tale of the Blue Comet,” followed by a walk to the train shed.

The final program in the series, “Tales from the Morris Canal,” is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28th, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
