NYPD Seeks Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Bronx Gas Station Robbery

The New York City Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent robbery at a Bronx gas station. The incident occurred at approximately 10:48 PM on Sunday, December 31, at the gas station located at 824 Allerton Avenue, within the jurisdiction of the 49th Precinct.

According to police reports, the suspect approached a 56-year-old male employee at the gas station. The individual, whose identity remains unknown, brandished a firearm during the encounter. The perpetrator forcibly took about $300 in cash, roughly 30 packs of Newport cigarettes, and two 12-ounce bottles of Fireball liquor. Following the robbery, the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Boston Road.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident. The NYPD has released media related to the suspect and is urging anyone with information about the individual’s identity or whereabouts to come forward. The police emphasize the importance of public cooperation in apprehending the suspect and ensuring community safety.
