Family Feud Ends with Stabbing, Arrest in Spring Hill

SPRING HILL, FL – A domestic dispute escalated into a stabbing incident in Spring Hill, leading to the arrest of Felix Daniel Torres.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Augustine Road around 12:02 AM on Sunday. Deputies found Torres, born on November 20, 1974, with blood on his hands and clothing, matching the description of the assailant.

Another adult male, also bloodied and holding a metal object, was found at the scene. The victim reported that Torres, his girlfriend’s father, attacked him with two knives during a misunderstanding with a family member. A family member of Torres also sustained injuries while trying to intervene.


Both victims received medical treatment from Hernando County Fire & Emergency Services. Torres was treated for a thumb laceration before being detained at the Hernando County Detention Center. He faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and culpable negligence, with a bond set at $11,000.
