NEW YORK CITY, NY – A robbery incident at the Union Square subway station has prompted the New York City Police Department to seek public assistance in identifying the suspect. The event occurred on Monday, January 15, at approximately 2:20 am.
A 28-year-old male victim reported that an unidentified male approached him from behind inside the station and demanded his property.
The suspect forcibly took the victim’s backpack and then left the station on foot, heading in an unknown direction. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and around 6 feet tall.
