Toms River, NJ – In Toms River, pizza enthusiasts have a plethora of options to satisfy their cravings for a delicious slice. According to the One Bite Pizza app, a popular platform for pizza reviews, several pizzerias in Toms River have distinguished themselves as the top choices among locals.

Leading the pack is Brooklyn Square Pizza, boasting an impressive score of 9.0. This pizzeria, located in the former Pizza Rustico spot in Silverton, has garnered acclaim for its signature square pizza. Although Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports, the creator of the One Bite Pizza app, has not reviewed this specific location, he has visited their Jackson branch, indicating the brand’s widespread recognition.

Following closely is Zi Marie’s Original Pizzeria-Trattoria, which scored an 8.6. Zi Marie’s, situated just outside of Holiday City Berkeley on Jamaica Boulevard, is praised for both its excellent pizza and commendable service.


In third place, DiCosmo’s Pizza holds a rating of 8.5. DiCosmo’s, which took over the location previously occupied by Steverino’s, has quickly made a name for itself in Toms River. Their round cheese pie and upside-down grandma pie are particularly noted for their quality.

Also notable are Naples Pizza & Restaurant and Attilio’s Pizza, both scoring 7.4. Naples is known for more than just pizza, located at the corner of Fischer Boulevard and Windsor Avenue, while Attilio’s, a staple in Toms River since 1973, is renowned for its consistent quality and delicious offerings.

Rounding out the top-rated pizzerias are Capone’s (7.3), Mia’s Pizza 37 (7.2), Cathy’s Ristorante (7.2), Dario Pasta Pannini (7.1), and Al’s Famous Pizza (7.1). Each of these establishments offers its unique take on the classic dish, contributing to Toms River’s vibrant pizza scene.
