Child’s Remains Found in Concrete-Filled Container in Pueblo

Pueblo, CO – A grim discovery in a storage unit has sparked a homicide investigation in Pueblo, with police now urgently seeking to locate two missing children. The Pueblo Police Department responded to reports of suspicious activity on the 600 block of West 6th Street around 8:37 a.m. on January 10, where a person found a metal container filled with hardened concrete. Upon further examination, the remains of a child were found encased within.

The Pueblo Police Special Victims Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit have taken charge of the investigation. The identity of the victim will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner following the notification of next of kin.

As the investigation progresses, police efforts have pivoted towards locating Jesus Dominguez and Yesenia Dominguez, two children who have not been seen since the summer of 2018. At the time of their disappearance, Jesus was approximately 5 years old, and Yesenia was about 3 years old. They would now be around 10 and 9 years old, respectively. The police are eager to ascertain the safety and whereabouts of both children.


Two individuals of interest have been interviewed in connection with the case, which remains actively under investigation by the Pueblo Police.
