Bridgeville Woman Charged for Threatening Co-Worker With Knife

The Delaware State Police have taken 29-year-old Neydi Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez of Bridgeville, Delaware into custody following a confrontation with a coworker. The incident, involving a knife, took place at Mountaire Farms, located on John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro.

The altercation occurred the evening of February 7, 2024, around 6:18 p.m., when police were called to the scene after reports of aggravated menacing. Investigations revealed that during a dispute, Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez brandished a knife at a 32-year-old coworker, accompanying the action with threatening statements. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the incident.

Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez was apprehended at the scene without any complications. Following her arrest, she was transported to Troop 4 for processing. There, she faced charges related to the altercation, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and subsequently released on a $22,000 unsecured bond.
