Beachwood Police Officers Awarded for Life-Saving Heroism

Beachwood, NJ – Two Beachwood Police Department officers, Ptl. Michael Batullo and Ptl. Thomas Prince, have been recognized for their critical life-saving efforts that saved the life of a local resident. The officers, along with Beachwood Emergency Medical Services and Robert Wood Johnson Paramedics, were commended for their swift and decisive actions. These efforts are a testament to the department’s commitment to serving the community.

The life-saving incident involved the collaborative effort of Ptl. Michael Batullo, Ptl. Thomas Prince, Beachwood EMS, and Robert Wood Johnson Paramedics, showcasing the importance of teamwork in emergency situations. Their quick response and skilled intervention played a pivotal role in saving the resident’s life.

For their bravery and exceptional service, Ptl. Batullo and Ptl. Prince were honored with the “Life Saving” citation award. The award was presented by Chief Glen DeMarco during the council meeting on Wednesday, February 21st, highlighting the officers’ dedication and the positive impact of their actions on the community.
