Brick Township Historical Society to Explore Local Shipwreck Mystery

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Brick Township Historical Society has announced it will host an engaging meeting on March 12, 2024, at 7:30 PM, focusing on the intriguing mystery of a local shipwreck. The event will take place at the Herbertsville Firehouse, located at 601 Herbertsville Rd.

Daniel J. Lieb from the NJ Historical Divers Association will lead the program titled “The Mystery of a Local Shipwreck & How it was Identified.” Through the study of artifacts and extensive research, the enigma surrounding the shipwreck has been unraveled, offering attendees a unique glimpse into maritime history.

Admission to the meeting is free and open to the public, encouraging community members to delve into their local heritage. Attendees are instructed to park at the rear of the firehouse and enter through the door on the right at ground level.
