BALTIMORE, MD – A road rage suspect who fired multiple shots at another driver in Baltimore has been arrested.
On February 28, at around 4:33 p.m., police officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Hilton Parkway after receiving reports of a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, they found a 46-year-old man suffering from several non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Medics swiftly took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The investigation into the shooting led to the quick apprehension of a suspect, 21-year-old Troy Barnes of Baltimore, located in the 3000 block of Arunah Avenue. It was determined through preliminary findings that the shooting was the result of a road rage incident between the victim and Barnes, with Barnes allegedly firing multiple shots at the victim.
Detectives took Barnes to the Central Booking Intake Facility after the initial investigation. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. The case continues to be under investigation as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
