80-Year-Old Woman Robbed at Gunpoint Exiting Bank in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND — A distressing robbery incident occurred on March 1, 2024, at the Bank of America Parking lot located at 2200 Forest Drive.

Two male suspects confronted an 80-year-old woman as she was exiting the bank around 12:05 p.m. The assailants, one of whom brandished a handgun, demanded the envelope she was holding, presumed to contain money. Following the victim’s compliance, the suspects made their escape in a black Jeep SUV. Fortunately, the victim sustained no injuries from the encounter.

The Southern District detectives are actively investigating this robbery and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects involved.
