Photos of Fugitive Wanted for Murder in D.C. Released by Metro PD

WASHINGTON, DC — In a pressing appeal to the public, the Metropolitan Police Department has released surveillance footage of a suspect involved in a fatal shooting in Northwest Washington. The incident, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Jeremy Dewayne Johnson of Southeast, D.C., occurred in the early hours of February 12.

Responding to reports of gunfire, officers discovered Johnson with gunshot wounds on the 900 block of Shepherd Street, Northwest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The footage of the suspect, vital to the investigation, has been made available through police channels and online platforms.

The MPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this homicide.
