Man Safely Removed from Roof of Toms River Medical Center

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A potentially dangerous situation was averted at Community Medical Center in Toms River when a man allegedly threatening to jump from the roof was safely removed. While township officials have yet to release the incident’s details, on-scene reports confirm the individual’s safe removal.

The quick response and effective handling of the situation ensured no harm to the individual or others at the location. Further information regarding the incident and the man involved is awaited as the investigation continues.

The Toms River Police Department was on scene along with two patrol vehicles from the Neptune Township Police Department in Monmouth County.
