Newark Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

NEWARK, DE — Following an investigation into alleged drug offenses, the Newark Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of 30-year-old Sean Kenny. The search uncovered significant quantities of illegal substances.

During the operation, law enforcement officers discovered over one pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms and more than three pounds of marijuana. Other seized items included LSD, MDA, and THC-infused vape products. Kenny was arrested on March 1 without any complications.

He faces several charges, including possession with intent to deliver psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, and marijuana, along with possession of a controlled substance in Tier 2 quantity for marijuana, Tier 1 quantity for LSD, possession of MDA, and drug paraphernalia. Following his arraignment via video at Justice of the Peace Court #2, Kenny was released on $9,100 unsecured bail.
