Police Investigating After Man Found Dead With Serious Injuries in Upper Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY – An early morning emergency call led police to 559 West 156th Street in Manhattan’s 33rd Precinct, where a critical incident took place. Officers arrived at the scene around 7:36 AM to find a 22-year-old male victim unconscious and unresponsive, showing signs of neck trauma.

EMS immediately transported the victim to New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is tasked with determining the exact cause of death.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the incident, and the investigation is actively continuing. Authorities have yet to release the identity of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin.
