BOSTON, MA – Keiarri Dyette, also known as “Kemo,” 26, admitted to multiple federal charges yesterday, acknowledging his involvement with the Cameron Street gang, a notorious group based in Boston’s Dorchester area. U.S. Senior District Court Judge William G. Young has set the sentencing for June 13, 2024.
Dyette’s plea includes conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise, illegal firearms dealing, and conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine. The Cameron Street gang, to which Dyette belonged, is known for using violence and intimidation to maintain and expand its influence, often marked by members’ tattoos or clothing with “C” or “KC” for “Killa Cam.”
In his capacity within the gang, Dyette engaged in violent activities, including assaulting a rival gang member with a pistol and trafficking firearms and drugs, such as cocaine and marijuana. The legal ramifications for Dyette’s actions include potential sentences of up to 20 years for racketeering and firearms charges, and up to 40 years for drug distribution, alongside significant fines and supervised release periods. Sentencing will be determined according to U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and applicable statutes.
