NYPD Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect for Multiple Armed Robberies

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a series of armed robberies. In the first incident, on Wednesday, at approximately 12:55 am, at 97-06 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, an unidentified assailant brandished a firearm at a 55-year-old male store clerk, forcibly taking around $400 before escaping on foot. No injuries were reported from the event.

In a related occurrence on Sunday, at approximately 2250 hours, at 224 Beach 98 Street, the same suspect is believed to have threatened a 41-year-old male store clerk with a firearm, taking about $200 and the victim’s phone. The perpetrator then fled northbound on Beach 98 Street. This incident also resulted in no reported injuries. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
