West Islip Man Found Guilty of Stealing Over $8 Million from Long Island School

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Township of Hamilton Police Department has apprehended Shawn C. Nguyen, a 44-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township, after a comprehensive investigation that started in June 2022. Nguyen was arrested following a report of a distressed female at 4262 Black Horse Pike.

The investigation, which spanned several months, revealed Nguyen had exploited his role as a New Jersey Army National Guard recruiter to assault a 16-year-old female. He faces charges including two counts of sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child, and official misconduct.

Nguyen is currently being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility awaiting court proceedings. The investigation received support from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey State Police – Fugitive Unit.
